Angie Case (Knox)
I graduated from Oregon State University in 2001 with a Bachelors in Human Development and Family Sciences. I worked as an Assistant Manager for Bank of America while going to school. As it turned out, I never used my degree. I got into residential lending and loved it. I married Anthony in 1999, and in 2003 we had Emily. Shortly after her birth, I started a home business as a Medical Transcriptionist. I love being a work at home mom. We are now expecting our second daughter, Alyssa, on Christmas day!
April Chestnut (Bacani)
In 1999, I got married to a man I met over the internet and we spent our honeymoon driving cross-country to the suburbs of Philly. We are currently attending Philadelphia Biblical University where we are seniors and I am working towards a degree in Bible and Social Work. We also work full time at Woods Services which is an educational and residential facility for mentally (and often physically) handicapped children and adults. We have no children but plan to adopt after we finish school.
Melodie Farmer (Jones)
I graduated from PSU with a BS in Health Education. I'm now living in Portland, OR with my wonderful husband and adorable 15 month old boy. I worked in Health Promotion until making the change to full time stay at home mommy!
I am a SSgt in the USAF, stationed in Japan. This is me and my beautiful wife at our wedding in Hawaii (Nov 2003). We just got to Japan a couple months ago. We were at Beale AFB north of Sac. for the last 4 years. I am making a career out of the military. I have spent 8 years in Ca, 1 year in South Korea, and the last couple months in Japan. I have also been to Turkey and Guam as well as a hand full of US states. I wish I could have made it to the reunion and seen everybody. Take care everybody, hopefully I will get to see you next time.
Amanda Maghari (Gibson)
After high school I got my degree in Child Development from Shasta College. For 6 years I worked as a preschool teacher/day care provider at various centers in Redding. In 2000, I moved to the Bay Area where I got a job in the high tech field. For the last 4 years I've worked for Analog Devices, a semiconductor company, based in San Jose. This is where I met my husband, Brian. We were married in downtown San Jose on September 25th (yep, still honeymooners)! We are happily living in Campbell, California at this time.
I have kept myself busy, busy over the last ten years... After leaving the Redding area my daughter and I moved to the Sacramento area. I continued and still continue my education, majoring in Psychology to purse my career working with children of abuse. My daughter is 10 years old and in the fifth grade. I have never been married, but I am in a serious relationship with my boyfriend, Jason. Besides being a full-time mom,I work for a non-profit organization in the downtown area of Sacramento in the Accounting department. And I also have a side business as a PartyLite Consultant.
I finished my BA in Psychology at UC Davis in 1998, then a MA in Education in 2001 with an emphasis in Special Education. After working in the bay area for three years, I'm back at UC Davis, now in my first year of a PhD in Education. Hopefully I'll finish the program by 2009 and get a job teaching at the university level. I'm not married and I have no kids at this time. Sorry I wasn't able to make it to the 10 year reunion.... perhaps the next one? I saw some of the pics though... my, how everyone has grown up!
Meredith Perkins (Price)
Up until about a month ago, I have been working in the corrections side of juvenile probation for the last 7 years. I have been a full time drill instructor at a youth facility in Stonyford, CA while still residing in Redding for four years. I met my husband Jeff while he was home on leave from the U.S. Army in 2001 and 7 months later we were married. He has since left the Army and currently works for Pepsi.We have no children yet and I am currently working at Kangaroo Kourts and working on my Fitness Trainer Certification.
After High School, I stayed around Redding working and going to Shasta College. I met my wife at the Redding Rodeo. She was offered a job in San Jose, so I up and moved to San Jose with her. We bought a house in 2000 and got married on October 20, 2001. Our son William was born June 11, 2002. In 2003, I started my company, Professional Home Repair. I took a break from bull riding but, got back into it in 2004. This year I won the Morgan Hill Invitational and the CCPRA Rodeo Sierraville, Ca. In 2000 we purchased our first few cows and are now raise bucking bulls.
Krista Strong (Stowell)
After graduating from high school I attended BYU and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Southern California and taught 4th and 5th grade for a couple of years. In Nov. 1999 I married my wonderful husband Jeremy. Since then we have lived in both Columbus, Ohio and Denver, Colorado. My husband's employer transferred us to Ponce, Puerto Rico in Jan. 2004 for about two years. We have two wonderful children. Julia was born in Oct. 2001 and Tyler was born in May 2003. I have been a stay at home mom since Julia was born and I love it.
